Plasma fluorination modified CaTiO<sub>3</sub> for dielectric properties of PTFE-based composites

Abstract The interface incompatibility between organic polymer and inorganic ceramic filler is a common phenomenon in polymer-based dielectric composites. In this paper, the Ar/CF 4 plasma used to modify CaTiO 3 particles, which improved dispersion of its compatibility with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). findings demonstrate that growing argon (Ar) flow rate was beneficial enhance discharge increase fluorinated graft content. modified /PTFE uniformly distributed has no serious agglomeration phenomenon, effectively improves characteristics. Modified composite 5 wt.% constant 2.32 whilst loss reaches 2.8 × 10 −3 at around GHz.
